INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS
Note: If you do not have full administrative privileges to your computer, your system or network administrator must install CCH@Hand for you using the steps below. If you are upgrading a previous version of CCH@Hand that was installed by a system or network administrator, please have the administrator uninstall CCH@Hand before installing this version.
To install CCH@Hand
1. Click the "Install CCH@Hand" button at the top of this page.
2. Follow the instructions on your screen.
Note: CCH@Hand checks for the presence of the Microsoft .NET Framework on your computer and installs it if necessary. Once the .NET Framework installation is complete, the CCH@Hand installation will begin.
3. When the installation is complete, if CCH@Hand is unable to determine your user id and password, you will be taken to the Options dialog where you can establish your user identity and configure additional options within CCH@Hand. You can change these settings at any time within the CCH@Hand Options dialog.
Upgrading the .NET Framework
In order to address a security vulnerability, Microsoft has issued .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. CCH@Hand checks for the presence of this Service Pack during installation but does not install it automatically. To install this update, please use the Windows Update feature available through Internet Explorer.
